ACOUSTICAL BREADTH

The acoustical breadth is based off of analysis II – prefabricated wall partitions. This breadth analysis will evaluate the enhancements that the new wall partition system provides. The analysis will focus on the STC rating of the walls, comparing the new system to the STC of the original interior partition system. All of the areas that include typical office spaces, conference rooms, huddle rooms, and personal office spaces will be studied to have a full overview of the alternate system. The goal of performing this analysis is to show that the new proposed system will have additional positive qualities outside of project costs and scheduling.

MECHANICAL BREADTH

The mechanical breadth is based off of analysis III – chilled beam system. This breadth analysis will determine the necessary cooling requirements with the upgraded chilled beam system. While additionally researching and finding a heating supplement for the chilled beam system. The goal of performing this analysis is to show that the chilled beam system will promote a quicker schedule, improve the overall project schedule, reduce the required mechanical distribution equipment for the building, amongst being a more efficient and greener mechanical system than the current FCU system within the Northeast Office Building.
